• We are delighted to invite you to participate in “Feed the Turtle”, our newest dining event at the University of Maryland. We recognize that students often crave the comforts of home – whether they admit it or not!  This recipe from home initiative allows you to share some of your best recipes with us – and just maybe allows you to surprise your son or daughter too. Our team of talented chefs will review all and test many of the recipes received.  We will feature the very best of them in our dining rooms, acknowledging the menu item and family who shared it with us.

• We offer Terrapin Treats, a gift-package-from-home service to help parents and family members to stay in touch and send students a treat. While someone you love attends the University of Maryland, stay connected by sending a Terrapin Treat gift package.
• Terrapin Express is an optional stored value account that can be attached to the student ID.
• Testudo is a direct connection that enables you to make deposits to your student's Terrapin Express account.
• We are well-trained in helping students manage special eating patterns and medically prescribed diets. For personalized dietary advice, please make an appointment with our dietitian by calling 301-314-8058 or by emailing schrimpe@umd.edu.
