The University of Maryland ID Card

Every student on campus is issued a University of Maryland ID card. This card is extremely valuable and carrying the card brings privileges and responsibilities.

Theft from any Dining Services venue will result in disciplinary action up to and including prosecution in a court of law. Theft is defined to include and is not limited to:

In addition to the actions referenced above, any student who fails in these responsibilities (especially repeated failure) is subject to being referred to the Office of Student Conduct .

9i. Making, possessing, or using any forged, altered, or falsified instrument of identification on University premises

9k. Theft of property or of services on University premises or at University-sponsored activities

9n. Failure to comply with the directions of University officials acting in the performance of their duties

9o. Violation of published University regulations or policies…may include residence hall contract…consumption of alcoholic beverages…misuse of identification cards
